Q.1 What is Physiotherepy ?
Ans. It’s a professional health care discipline directed primarily towards prevention of movement dysfunction in people. It provides preventive, diagnostic and rehabilitative services to help people achieve optimal functional status after injury or disease. Its non-invasive, cast effective with its future being both exacting and challenging.
Q.2 What is the duration of BPT & MPT courses ?
Ans. Students has to undergo 4 year academic and 6 months clinical internship for BPT course and 2 years regular post graduate program for MPT. During their academic stay they learn, implement Physiotherapy techniques using specialized skills for treatment of movement dysfunction. They also part pate in professional activities such as Research, Administration, Teaching and Consultation.
Q.3 What is the scope of Physiotherapy ?
Ans. Physiotherapy course not only shows the golden coin our pocket but provides a professional satisfaction. In India, the patient therapist has to be about 10,000 : 1 and thus still One Lakh therapist are in demand to serve Indian population, with more number needed for the scope worldwide.
Q.4 What is the Eligibility for BPT ?
Ans.
  1. A candidate seeking admission to the course must have passed HSSC examination (10+2) or equivalent examination, 50% in PCB for General candidate and 45% SC/ST/OBC from recognized board/University.
  2. The candidate must have completed 17 year pf age at the time admission.
  3. The admissions to BPT course will be made on the basis of merit performance in.CGPCET (Chhattisgarh Physiotherapy Common Entrance Test)
